The 2nd Annual Northwest Percussion Project built on the success of the first year. It involved more students, more teachers, more volunteers, more sponsors and proved to be a great time for everyone involved. Thank you to every one of the great people that helped make this event such a great success!

WHO ARE THE FACULTY?

  • Daniel Bukvich - Professor of Percussion, University of Idaho
  • David Jarvis - Professor of Percussion, Washington State University
  • Spencer Martin - Director of Percussion Studies, Whitman College
  • Quentin DeWitt - Percussion Educator, Artist and Clinician
  • Edward Littlefield - Seattle Philharmonic, Artist and Clinician
  • Jared Hallock - Juxtapercussion
  • Jesse Schattin - University of Idaho Percussion Major
  • Kristen McMullin - University of Idaho Music Graduate Student

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Student in grades 5 through 12, music teachers or anyone else interested in percussion are all welcome to come and take part in this fantastic opportunity! No prior percussion experience is necessary.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The registration fee is $30 (if postmarked on or before February 24th, 2007). On-site registration is available for $40.

The registration fee includes a session workbook, a pair of Vic Firth drumsticks, lunch and a T-shirt.

T-shirts, sticks and workbooks are subject to availability for on-site registrants. It is recommended that on-site registrants bring their own sticks in case there is a shortage.
